Twenty-two.
That’s been the number that I am ironically finding myself associated with. You see, I served for 22 years with the US Navy and Marine Corps, serving in Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.
Since I’ve retired, I have now come to learn that 22 is also the number of veterans who take their own lives every day. I have made it my mission to do my best to reduce this number.
Owning Bad Dog Bakery is the perfect opportunity because 30% of all profits go to support veteran organizations, one of those being Soldier On. Soldier On is a program of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) which contributes to the recovery of ill and injured CAF members and veterans by providing opportunities and resources through sport, recreational, and creative activities.
